Test inclusions -Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Free Triiodothyronine (FT3) and Free Thyroxine (FT4), Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPO antibodies) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TG antibodies) AND Vitamin D, Active Vitamin B12, Folate, Ferritin and CRP. The Blue Horizon laboratory team have gone a little bit further than our rivals with the Premium range - for no extra charge Serum Cortisol and Serum Magnesium are now also included in this profile (and the whole thyroid Premium range). It is widely reported that high cortisol levels can affect thyroid function, and vice versa. Magnesium has a particularly important role in the conversion of FT4 to FT3.
